Dr. Pat Hinds and the TAM Open Mic community. Friday 6 November, Pat's birthday, at the Temple of Art and Music, Mercato Metropolitano, 42 Newington Causeway, London SE1 6DR. Free: RSVP for guest list. Doors 6.30pm, music 7.30pm. Elephant & Castle station, about five minutes on foot. This one is a celebration of the TAM community, and of the open mic Pat hosts at the Temple. Expect a lot of the great open mic people. Pat might play a few songs himself; the night belongs to everyone else. The line-up is revealed one name at a time. Mercato is a food market, so eat there before doors; it saves you a decision. The Temple is wheelchair friendly. If you need anything specific, tell TAM before you go. Not loudly: wish him a happy birthday on your way in. If you need anything else, I'm usually at the Temple.
